I had Eggs Beni with bacon and a coffee this morning for breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the coffee was delicious.

Forage on Berry Step off the street, leave the bustle behind, Find peace in a garden the city can’t find. Forage on Berry, where fairies might dwell, In teacups and trellises—soft as a spell. The scones are like clouds, the chai hugs your soul, And laughter drifts gently, like steam from the bowl. But hush—can you hear it? The quiet so deep? A silence that tiptoes, not wanting to leap. No hum of a sax, no piano’s warm glow, Just teapots and whispers and sunlight on show. The charm is all there, but imagine the bliss— A brush of café jazz, like a background kiss. A bass line that strolls with the breeze through the door, A trumpet that sighs with the wood on the floor. Not loud—just a shimmer, a rhythm, a thread, To cradle the magic already well-fed. So sip and delight, in this soft garden glade, But maybe—just maybe—a tune could be played.

The food we ate here was nice and filling but lacked in really great flavour. The satay chicken wrap was packed with chicken and salad but the satay sauce was quite bland and tasteless. The poached eggs were slightly overcooked on the other meals. They have a good foundation but based on our dining experience, they need to make some tweaks to make their meals outstanding. The chai was great!

Oh my goodness!Went there this morning to get out of the cold to catch up with a friend. Had intended to just get a coffee, but saw the sourdough crumpets with lemon curd and berries on the menu. It was delicious! So well presented and tasty. Have never been to this Cafe before, but will definitely be back. Clean, lovely atmosphere, happy and friendly staff. I felt compelled to leave a review, as I like to see local business get bums on seats when the service is so good.Do yourself a favour, stay out of the cold and meet your friends here for coffee or a meal.
